Cully is the most intimate of all major jazz festivals in Switzerland. For nine days every spring, Cully Jazz Festival transforms Cully, a charming winegrowing hamlet, into a jazz stronghold. In spring every year, the heart of Lavaux on the shore of Lake Geneva teems with over 40,000 festivalgoers who come to hear the finest in jazz. The Cully Jazz Festival is a 9-day journey through jazz. Reputed musicians as well as up and coming stars fill the streets and the cellars of this pretty winegrowing village with their jazz sounds. Twelve cellars and cafés, as well as the Tent and the “Next Step Club” open their doors to the public, be they novices or fans. In Cully, spring is synonymous with jazz.
